Blogger Spotlight: Meg Hardison

This week's Weekly Blogger Spotlight is Meg Hardison of Momming Adventures!

Momming Adventures is a parenting blog that provides easy to understand help and advice. The focus of the blog is to provide information on popular topics and frequently asked questions that arise for mothers and parents, such as breastfeeding tips and advice, cloth diapering help, how to live frugally with children, etc.

It is a blog for mothers and parents who are looking for help and advice with topics that arise when raising a child.

Why did you decide to create your blog?

I created Momming Adventures when I had my first child. As a mother I realized that no matter how prepared we are for a children there is always something we need help with, or we are unsure of. I wanted to take everything I have been learning and create a space for other moms (parents) to come and be able to find the information they are looking for in one place.

What do you love about blogging?

I love that it is a creative outlet for me where I can voice my opinions and offer help for other parents.

What is one of your ultimate goals in life?

One of my ultimate goals in life is to teach my children to find the good in everything, Even when everything seems to be going wrong that there was an experience learned from it.

If you could give one piece of advice to those you blog for, what would it be:

My biggest piece of advice I can give to parents is: You do you! It doesn’t matter if other parents criticize the way you raise your child, they are not in your shoes, they are not your child’s parent. Nobody but you can tell you how to raise your child.  Only you know what is best for them. As long as you love that baby you are doing awesome!

I’m Meg the mama behind Momming Adventures!
I’m a stay-at-home mom who blogs and knits for a living. Before I became a stay-at-home mom I was in school for nursing and working as a personal support worker part time.
Once I had my son I knew there was no way I was going to go back to work and risk missing any of his firsts. That’s when I made the decision to become a stay at home mom and create Momming Adventures :)
